Um Br\u00f6tchen zu holen, haben wir etwas zu weit vom Zentrum entfernt gelegen. Deshalb hatten wir am Vortag Br\u00f6tchen zum Aufbacken gekauft. Volker, unser Chef-Koch, versuchte das Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck zuzubereiten. Die Gasflamme im Backofen war sehr sp\u00e4rlich. Nachdem wir dann noch das Wasser f\u00fcr den Kaffee kochen wollten, gab es keinen Zweifel: Die Gasflasche ist leer. Also tauschten wir die Flasche gegen eine an Bord befindliche Ersatzflasche. Das Ergebnis war etwas besser. Aber auch nicht wie gewohnt. Naja, erst einmal fr\u00fchst\u00fccken. Ansonsten war die Fahrt bis Brunsb\u00fcttel recht langweilig, obwohl an diesem Tag viel mehr Verkehr herrschte als am Tag zuvor. W\u00e4hren wir so \u00fcber das Wetter und die K\u00e4lte an diesen Tagen redeten, dachte ich an unser Gas. Auf Grund der Tatsache, dass in amerikanisch dominierten Inseln der Karibik Propangas verwendet wird, hatte ich unser Gaspr\u00fcfungsunternehmen gefragt, inwieweit wir Propangas verwenden k\u00f6nnen. Grunds\u00e4tzlich sei dies bei gleichen Flaschen, also nicht bei den Alu-Flaschen, ohne \u00c4nderungen m\u00f6glich, sogar vorteilhaft. Unser Butan str\u00f6mt schon bei weniger als 5 Grad nur noch widerwillig aus der Flasche. Propan hingegen k\u00f6nnte auch noch bei Minus-Temperaturen eingesetzt werden. Aha! Unsere Butanflasche war noch gar nicht leer. Die Temperatur am Morgen betrug 2 Grad. Das war das eigentliche Problem. Um 1530 Uhr erreichten wir den Yachthafen Brunsb\u00fcttel, gleich neben der Schleuse. Um 2 Uhr bimmelte der Wecker. Um 2:15 war die AIDA CARA in Sicht. Aber zuerst wurden noch drei Frachter von der Elbe in den NOK geschleust. Um 4 Uhr war dann endlich auch die AIDA an der Reihe.
